The Listening Room at The Village Chapel with The Meeting
Join us for a unique musical experience in The Listening Room at the Village Chapel — a space designed for stillness, sound, and soul. Housed in a beautifully preserved chapel with natural wood and plaster acoustics, the room offers an intimate setting to sit, listen, and truly enjoy live music.

Jeff Kleppin and Jeff Woods met in college and began singing and strumming their guitars for friends in dorms, around campfires, and at local watering holes. Bonded by their passion for music and harmony, this began a journey that would start, stop, and start again over the decades. As life happened and families formed, music took a backseat. Years later, the two friends found themselves drawn back to the stage. Fueled by nostalgia and the joy of performing, they sought to reignite that musical flame. They soon crossed paths with Michael Gay, an upright bass player and childhood friend of Woods, and “The Meeting” came to order. Featuring strong vocal harmonies, intricate guitar work, and pulsating bass lines, the trio has carved a place in the New River Valley music scene, sharing their brand of new and slightly used country, rock, pop and classics. “The Meeting” is a testament to the enduring bonds forged through lifelong friendships, shared melodies, and the spirit of collaboration. Sometimes, the most lasting music is made in the simplest of meetings.
